Regen360 is the brainchild of David Gottfried. He is the founder of the U.S. and World Green Building Councils now in 85 countries. The GBC movement is the largest regeneration effort on Earth, igniting a trillion dollar economy focussed on how we design, build and operate the built environment.
Regen360 will start by building the missing piece in the global GBC movement - a digital highway integrating millions of professionals across 13 avatars. The platform will curate member “gots and needs” utilizing AI tools.
The mission is to accelerate global regeneration harnessing the network effect while boosting triple-bottom line profitability and hope.
David Gottfried is the Founder & CEO of Regen360. He is is known as a father of the global green building movement, founding the U.S. Green Building Council and World Green Building Councils, now in 80 countries – starting a global sustainable building movement with hundreds of thousands of projects in 181 countries, and hundreds of thousands of accredited professionals. Gottfried’s work focuses on transformation at scale with urgency.
Gottfried also serves as a Senior Advisor to Blue Planet Systems, focussed on carbon capture, mineralization and utilization to manufacture carbon negative concrete. Previously, He was CEO of Regenerative Ventures and its RegenNetwork for twenty years helping hundreds of the world’s foremost leadership organizations with their sustainable building strategies. Gottfried started his career as a real estate developer and contractor, including Senior Vice President of Thomas Properties Group and Managing Director of its Green Building Fund.
Gottfried hosts the Regen360 podcast with 80 episodes. His bestselling book Explosion Green was an Indie Book Awards Winner and has a cover testimonial from President Clinton. His former residence was the highest rated LEED Platinum home in the world. Gottfried has a degree in Engineering and Resource Management from Stanford University, where he is a regular lecturer.
Gottfried has received numerous leadership awards, including the WorldGBC Global Green Building Entrepreneurship Award, the Global Green Building Entrepreneurship Award, USGBC’s Leadership Award, and the USGBC Northern California Chapter’s Super Hero Award. He was inducted into the Green Industry Hall of Fame and named to the Purpose Economy 100.
